Grazing

Medium: Mixed media on cradled panel
Dimensions: 14" × 8" (unframed)

These Holstein beef cows were grazing in big open fields on a farm near my home, so I stopped to take some photos before carrying on. I didn’t realize they were beef cows until I started sketching them and wondered where the udders went! Clearly, I’m not a farmer but love the peace and calm that all grazing cattle evoke.
